Parkland has a few options in terms of pizza, but one of the best in town would be Angelo Elia Pizza, Bar, and Tapas. This restaurant serves a wide variety of authentic Italian fare and has a modern interior. Their pizza is delicious, but any pasta dish paired with a wine from their extensive list is equally impressive. Pizza Time Caffe is another option with an Italian atmosphere and decor where you can find top-notch pizza and premier meatballs. And when you aren’t craving pizza, try Lefty's Tavern & Grille for classic American food, sports on every screen, and beer on tap.

You can support local vendors and find organic produce at the Parkland Farmers Market, which opens on select Sundays throughout the year. You can grab lunch here before or after you shop for groceries and bring your furry friend along for the ride since this event is pet friendly. During the winter, Parkland hosts the well-attended Snow Fest, where you can support local food trucks and vendors or go down the snow slide and listen to live music.

The Parkland Amphitheater is a spacious outdoor venue in the heart of the city, where you can catch a live event or enjoy a picnic on the lawn. Nearby is Pine Trails Park, a widely used and multifaceted facility that is integral to Parkland life. The city’s sports programs hold practice and games in this park, where adults and kids can join football, soccer, and lacrosse teams. The park also has many walking trails, a fishing pier, and a playground, offering space for various activities.
